Get More Referrals

Getting referrals from your sphere of influence and past clients has the highest conversion rate (not to mention the least expensive).

At Pederson Realty, we focus on how we help people.  We want to help our clients buy and sell homes.  We want to help our friends, family and their co-workers.  We want to help every person all of those people know buy and sell homes.  We do that by providing the best possible service for the client.  To make sure you have the opportunity to help those people, you need to keep in front of them.

  • Write 5 personal letters or note cards to your SOI every day.
  • Call 5 people in your SOI every day.  Ask how they are.  Find out what’s happening in their lives.  Its about them.  When its natural, talk about how your life is.  How great real estate is.  Then ask for information on who they know that are looking to buy, sell or invest in real estate.
  • Stop by the homes of people in your SOI and bring them a small gift.  Something that is relevant for the time of year.  If its summer, bring by a 2 pack of ketchup and mustard for the next time they grill.  If its Spring, bring an umbrella.  In the fall, bring back to school supplies.  During the holidays, bring a cookie platter.  Make sure you have a note card with the gift asking for a referral.  Here is a great website with ideas on this: Pop By Ideas.
  • Take an honest interest in people you meet. They will engage with you and refer people they know.
  • Go to every wedding, graduation party, holiday party happy hour you’re invited to.  These are great places to deepen your relationship with your SOI.
  • Add everyone that your SOI refers to you to your database and CRM system.  Add them to your rotation of calls, notes and pop bys.
